Cala Llentia

Beaches

LOCATION
Secluded cove in the west coast of the island, hidden between the beaches of Cala Tarida and Cala Codolar. Its location can be a bit tricky if you don’t already know how to get there.  To access it you have to go down a steep slope. This condition has made it practically a solitary beach with hardly any visitors, which helps to conserve its natural essence just smoothly altered by a couple of traditional fishermen’s huts.

TIPOLOGY
Services: There are no services in this beach, it remains unchanged
Ideal for: Great beach cove ideal for hikers and diving enthusiasts. Also great for visiting it by boat as it’s easy for anchoring.

ACCES
To reach this beach cove from Sant Josep you must head towards Sant Antoni. On the way, when you reach Sant Agusti, you have to take the detour to the left that leads to the various beaches in the area. Head towards Platges de Comte, since midway in that direction there is a signposted dirt road to the left that leads to Cala Codolar. Take this road and when you reach some buildings announcing the existence of several houses and where the path forks, go straight leaving to your right the turnoff that leads to Cala Codolar. When you can’t advance anymore, as there are some houses blocking the passage, park your vehicle and walk straight until you reach the cliff. Bordering the cliff to the north you’ll immediately see the sea inlet which corresponds to Cala Llentia. You can also reach it from Cala Codolar in a few minutes walk along the coast.
