Beach Polo

Each year, the beach of Port des Torrent becomes the idyllic setting for Beachpolo Sant Josep, held over an entire weekend in the month of July. This tournament, which in 2022 marked its eighteenth edition, features matches between teams of top water polo players from Spain and abroad.

The event is the perfect excuse to bring together athletes from various places to share experiences while competing outside the pools where they usually play.

The tournament has already become a classic for many teams waiting to round off their seasons. And not just is it a weekend packed with competition and sportsmanship, but also a fantastic fund-raising event. Since 2010, each team has been paying a registration fee of 100 euros to take part, all of which goes to the ‘Get Wet for MS‘ initiative run by the Ibiza and Formentera MS Association.
