Platja d’en Bossa

Beaches

One the longest beaches in the island, Platja D?En Bossa belongs to two municipalities, Evissa and Sant Josep. Taking a long stroll on its white sand is real pleasure in winter. In summer, it becomes one of the most visited beaches, since it is surrounded by many hotels, restaurants, and retail stores. Easy to access and located immediately next to Ses Figueretes, this beach is an excellent place to sunbathe, swim, enjoy nautical sports or even go shopping. Plenty of shops are located along a street that runs parallel to the sea. However, given its open structure and orientation to the East, Platja D?En Bossa is not so well protected from the wind.

Size: 2,700 m long and from 20 to 30 m wide.
Orientation: East-Southeast. Moderate winds, from sea to land.
Substratum: Natural fine sand of light colour.
Sea bed: Sand; little depth thatn gradually increases.
Environment: Residential, tourist.
Sitting: 2 km away from the city of Eivissa.
