ACCESS
DFrom Sant Antoni de Portmany, follow the signs to Cala de Bou and then to S’Estanyol.
TRANSPORT: By car, bicycle or on foot. You can get there by public transport, the nearest bus stop being one kilometre away.
DISTANCES: Approximately 18 km from Ibiza and 6 km from Sant Josep de sa Talaia.

DESCRIPTION
This stretch of beach is the first coastal area belonging to Sant Josep de sa Talaia. It is a small, lightly-shelving, urban beach of medium-grain white sand, reaching a depth of just 1.5 metres at about 50 metres from the shore. The shallow waters and almost total absence of wind makes this an ideal bathing beach for children and the elderly.
LENGTH: Approximately 150 m
WIDTH: Approximately 15 m
TERRAIN: Fine golden sands mixed with some rocky areas.
SEABED: Sandy near the shore and lightly shelving, enabling bathers to keep in their depth.
ORIENTATION AND PREVAILING WINDS
The cove faces west, being sheltered from strong winds. The prevailing winds are usually light, mainly from land to sea.

The beach has a small beach bar offering drinks and snacks. There is also a 500 m swimming channel with signs showing the distance covered from the starting point.
